Very faded picture of two boys, before being restored and enlarged Restoration of color and contrast, plus changing window frame to a light color

At left, this original snapshot, taken sometime in the 1960’s, measured only 1.5” square. Faded and yellowed, it also had a black window frame behind one fellow which obscured his head. The restoration (right) included making the window frame a lighter color and cropping out much of the distracting background.

Below, this 1920‘s formal portrait had yellowed and faded, yet was not bad, overall. With a little imagination, and some insight into the fashion of the time, one can easily see this striking lady in a Navy blue dress with white and medium blue trim.
